Dentures

The big problem with dentures, of course, is keeping them in place.  While there are a large variety of dental adhesives on the market, the holds they provide can be less than solid. Now there are ways to improve the 20% chewing power dentures normally provide.

Dentures with Implants

Implants anchor a sturdy attachment for dentures. As shown in the picture, the implants are inserted in the jaw with balls that lock onto the denture. This allows the patient to chew better and speak more clearly. While they may have to get adjusted or realigned over time, they help preserve the jawbone.
