Temporomandibular Joint Disorder

This can result in TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) disorder. The root cause is a lack of functional harmony between jaw joint and the patient's bite. The improper teeth and jaw position remains locked in that place unless treated. This can result in headaches, neck aches and jaw pain.

Inconsistent dental treatment doesn't help. For example, this patient experienced jaw pain after seeing three different dentists (an Invisalign, a TMJ and a cosmetic dentist) and getting four crowns on her teeth. Dr. Muslin restored her bite harmony by replacing the four crowns. Her pain disappeared and she felt relief and comfort.

Teeth Grinding

While no definitive statistics exist on teeth grinding (or bruxism) millions of adult suffer from this affliction. The twelve symptoms include:
